The most popular type of resistance heaters, tubulars can generally be designed to fit most applications. They are used for heating liquids, air and solids, limited only by the space available and the general limitations concerning sheath temperature relative to watt density. The Incoloy sheath surrounds the highest quality compacted magnesium oxide. The resistor element located at the center of the sheath is made of the finest nickel chromium alloy and is designed to perform in the toughest of environments. Special terminations and bending can generally be added to stock units. Speical length heaters as well as heaters with special ratings are available.
