The SLC-3 is an FM approved safety limit control. The SLC-3 offers over temperature protection for your Thermal dynamic system. If a situation occurs where the SLC-3 set point is reached, the relay latches, de-energizing the heat source. The safety limit control can only be reset manually. The form B relay (Single-Pole Single Throw) is positioned normally closed for heating applications. Terminals for a remote reset switch are provided. The DIN Rail Mounting feature allows quick installation without drilling or hardware. Holes are also provided for direct surface mounting.
INPUT
- Type J or Type K Thermocouple with cold junction compensation
or 2-wire RTD, PT 100 ohm DIN
0 - 1400 °F Type J
0 - 2300 °F Type K
0 - 850 °F RTD
- Output de-energizes on sensor break
OUTPUT
- SPST 3.8 amp relay, 240VAC maximum
- Optional 24Vdc output to drive SSR. Contact Southeast Thermal Systems ( STS )
CONTROL MODE
- Latching relay with manual reset or power off. Can also be configured as on-off temperature control by jumping terminals 8 & 9
