SRX
  • The SRX is a digital PID controller with a high speed sampling time of 25 ms (0.025 sec) with high-resolution thermocouple, RTD and current voltage input, supplied with parameters settable in 1/100 sec. Application in RTP (Rapid Thermal Process), RTA (Rapid Thermal Anneal) and pulse heat temperature control of flip chip bonders in semiconductor manufacturing can be controlled by the SRX. The high speed sampling function also makes it suitable for additional application requirements such as pressure and flow rate.

Ultra High Speed Sampling 0.025 sec
  • The digital PID controller SRX realizes 40 times of feedback control in one second. It makes the SRX suitable for any application which requires fast control response and high accuracy.

The PID parameters can be set in 1/100 unit which supports supreme control by the SRX.

High Resolution
  • The HA series has a high resolution input for thermocouple, RTD, or current/voltage inputs to achieve accurate control with high speed sampling time.
In the controller, analog signal from a sensor is converted to a digital signal, and that digital signal is processed to output signal as control output. The resolution of the conversion process from analog to digital, and digital to analog is critical to achieve an accurate control.

  • Note: This diagram shows how accurately the HA series captures the input signal.

Ramp / Soak Program Control
  • 256 segment Ramp/Soak program (16 patterns by 16 segments) control is supplied as standard. Control can be selected from a standard fixed set-point control or ramp/soak program control.

Space-saving, simple-wiring
  • Side connectivity for power supply and communications eliminates the need for wiring and offers close mounting. A base module with 2 loop control supplies power to additional control modules and communicates via a side connector.

High Accuracy ± (0.1% of PV)

The SRX has high accuracy of ± 0.1% of reading. In addition, RKC's unique terminal design has realized high accuracy of cold junction temperature compensation. The cold junction temperature compensation error is less than ± 1.0 °C at ambient temperature of 23 ± 2 °C, and less than ± 1.5 °C at ambient temperature of 0 to 50 °C.

Communications

The SRX standard communication from the terminal of a base CPU module is RS-485 with Modbus or ANSI protocol. Profibus, DeviceNet, and Ethernet connectivity will soon be available.

Distributed installation and close mounting installation are both achievable by the SRX.

Note:
The above diagrams show a typical difference between the SRX Series and a conventional temperature controller with 100ms sampling cycle time to control a fast response process, such as an application in which temperature rises from 24 °C to 400 °C within two seconds.
